  • 8-10 safed bread slices (white bread)
  • 1/4 cup doodh (milk)
  • 2 bade chamach cheeni (sugar)
  • 1/2 chammach elaichi powder (cardamom powder) ya vanilla essence
  • Tel (oil) deep frying ke liye
  • 2 bade chamach powdered sugar (pisi hui cheeni) dusting ke liye

Method / Preparation

Follow step-by-step instructions
  1. Sabse pehle bread slices ke brown sides (crusts) ko kaat kar alag kar dein.
  2. Ek bade bowl mein bread slices ko doodh mein 2-3 minute ke liye bhigo dein, jab tak woh naram na ho jayein.
  3. Bread ko acchi tarah mash karein. Ab ismein cheeni aur elaichi powder (ya vanilla essence) daal kar smooth dough bana lein.
  4. Is dough se chhote balls lein aur unhein halka sa flat karke beech mein hole banakar donut ka shape dein. Aap donut cutter ka bhi istemal kar sakte hain.
  5. Ek kadhai mein tel garam karein, medium heat par.
  6. Jab tel garam ho jaye, donuts ko dheere se tel mein daalein. Ek baar mein zyada donuts na fry karein.
  7. Donuts ko golden brown aur crispy hone tak dono taraf se fry karein.
  8. Fry hone ke baad, donuts ko absorbent paper par nikal lein taaki extra tel nikal jaye.
  9. Garama garam donuts ko powdered sugar se acchi tarah dust karein aur turant serve karein.
